Aubree Henderson is an author, healer, and multidisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, New York.

Aubree’s work aims to help people feel a deep, enduring sense of self-love. She provides support and healing tools through her individual coaching work, writing, teaching, and podcasts. Her work is focused on themes of intimacy, grief, mental health, sexuality, body image, creativity, healing, and relationship to self.

Aubree is the author of Positive Thinking Workbook for Women: Invite More Self-Love, Self-Care, and Self-Confidence into Your Life (2024, Callisto Publishing) and Breaking Up with People-Pleasing (2021, Live Life Happy Publishing).

Aubree is the host of Ask Aubree and Feel It All: Healing Meditations, and is the co-host of anyway, more soon!.

A native midwesterner, Aubree earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Gender & Women’s Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, followed by a Master of Education in Human Development & Mental Health Counseling from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Since beginning her career in 2008, Aubree has worked with clients in a variety of settings. Her experience includes teaching sexual health programming in high school and college settings, facilitating addiction recovery programs, leading psychoeducational programs at university counseling centers, and teaching activities of daily living in residential group homes. She has supported C-level executive leaders to lead in alignment with their values, and trained staff at all levels to give & receive feedback more effectively. Aubree completed her first professional coaching certification in 2019, and has been coaching individuals and groups ever since. Most recently she earned a VITA™ Sex, Love, & Relationships Coaching certification.

Aubree is a lover of poetry, astrology, plants, reality tv, tattoos, and all the ways humans find meaning & make sense of things. She lives in Brooklyn, New York with her wife, Laura. They are foster & adoptive moms to many amazing kids.
